How our journey start

The tragic crash of an Air India plane in Ahmedabad marked a pivotal moment that underscored India's urgent need for self-reliance in aerospace technology, motivating the country to develop its own commercial aircraft manufacturing capabilities. This incident catalyzed government initiatives and industry efforts to establish indigenous aircraft programs, leading to the creation of organizations like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the eventual launch of the indigenous Tejas fighter jet, as well as the development of commercial aircraft such as the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 being assembled locally, reflecting India’s strategic move towards self-sufficiency in aerospace manufacturing.

Dropwell Aviation, founded in 2025 by Ritesh Agarwal, was inspired by his vision to improve aviation safety and infrastructure following the Ahmedabad plane crash incident. Motivated by a desire to prevent such tragedies and enhance the aviation industry, Agarwal established the company with innovative technologies and safety protocols aimed at transforming air travel.
